Been away a while!

Sorry, guys!

I have been away a while, but I promise I have returned with some great book reviews!

Over the last few months I have strayed from my normal reading routine and begun reading fantasy and sci/fi materials. The first I would like to discuss is The Ranger's Apprentice: Ruins of Gorlan by John Flanagan. I loved it! It is the story of Will, a young man with a mysterious past, who is apprenticed to a Ranger. The Rangers are a secretive band of brothers who use cunning, stealth, and mystery to keep the kingdom safe. In this installation of the series, Will and the Ranger Halt, must save the kingdom from the threat of Morgarath, who is trying to take over the kingdom using vile and nefarious beasts. Action, adventure, mystery, heroism and thoughful dialogue make Ruins of Gorlan an entertaining and exciting read!
